Torque and Tokens: AI in real machines.

AI in real machines.

Torque & Tokens is an English-language editorial publication about AI that has to work on real hardware: robotics and humanoids, autonomous vehicles, physical AI, agentic engineering, CAD and simulation, embedded systems and industrial AI.

We tell the big stories of the field through the companies, people and products behind them, and explain the mechanism an engineer would look for. Every post links its primary source. Company statements stay company statements.

Who reads it

  • Engineers in mechanical, systems, embedded, robotics and simulation roles
  • Technical founders building in robotics, physical AI and engineering software
  • Industrial buyers and integrators deciding what to deploy
  • Investors and analysts following physical AI

Where we are today

The Torque & Tokens LinkedIn page relaunched in November 2026 from an existing robotics news page with 356 followers (3 Nov 2026). We are building for reach and report real numbers as they come. We publish no estimated or projected reach figures.

Formats

The Signal. The news from robotics, physical AI and industrial AI, with what the number really measures and where it is heading.

Explained. The big ideas through the people behind them: keynotes, interviews and earnings calls turned into carousels and short 2D comic films, with quotes and timestamps.

Build File. Company and product features. How a robot, a sensor or an engineering tool goes from pilot to repeat customer, told with the real milestones.

Engineering Comics. The parts of the job nobody puts on a slide, with our Hamburg otter.

Industry Pulse. A monthly video round-up of robotics and physical AI by The Tech Storyteller, cut into native clips for LinkedIn.

House style

Comic grounded in reality. Clean ink line, warm off-white, near-black and one cobalt blue. Real products are drawn recognisably and labelled. AI-generated illustrations are always marked as illustrations, never presented as footage or test evidence.

Ways to work with us

  • Story pitches. Launches, papers, field data, customer milestones. Free editorial consideration; we cover what fits our readers.
  • Company and product features (Build File). Editorial features built on your real material: product footage, data sheets, deployment facts. Paid features are labelled as partnerships.
  • Explainers and comic films. A use case of your product explained in our house style, as a carousel or a short 2D comic film. Labelled as partnership when paid.
  • Launch and event coverage. Trade shows, product launches, keynotes.
  • Interviews. Founders and engineers on the record, with clear attribution.

Rates and availability on request.

Editorial rules

  • Primary source linked in every post
  • Claims attributed to the company that made them
  • Paid partnerships labelled as such; relevant business relationships disclosed
  • No invented quotes, customers, numbers or test results
  • Products shown for illustration carry a "not affiliated" note
