TORQUE & TOKENS / RADAR
Deep engineering for AI in legacy industries.
How agents actually get engineering work through CAD, PLM, requirements, simulation, test evidence and the change board, in automotive, aerospace, defense and manufacturing.
Start the curriculum ↓THE BRIEF

Torque & Tokens Radar is the deep-engineering side of Torque & Tokens. The main outlet covers AI in real machines. Radar covers the engineering underneath: how agents and AI tools get real work done in organisations where every change touches a requirements tool, a CAD model, a PLM revision, a simulation setup, a test report and several approval owners.
We write for engineers and engineering leaders who live with fragmented tools, committees and multi-signature approvals, and for whom a wrong change means a recall, not a rollback. Capable engineers are the protagonists. Agents prepare the evidence. People keep the signature.
Every piece separates what a source actually shows from what we think it means for your workflow. Sources are linked, illustrations are labelled, and any productivity number comes with its baseline and scope.

MINI APPLIED CURRICULUM
WATCH → MAP → TRY → CHECKThe 100x Engineering Curriculum
A short applied course on carrying real engineering work through an agent harness: a bounded task, pinned baselines, usable tools, physical checks, independent review, explicit approval gates and a loop that learns from every miss. Each lesson takes one painful engineering job, shows the evidence a responsible engineer needs, and ends with an exercise you can run on your own change requests.
'100x' is our ambition, not a measured result. One engineer with well-built harnesses doing the coordination work of a much larger team. We don't claim it. We show you how to test it: freeze a set of historical changes, run them with and without the harness, and measure hands-on time, queue time, first-pass acceptance and escaped errors.
